Fireworks are Back!

The Colerain Summer Events Committee, Inc. made public it's plans to bring the 4th of July Spectacular festival back to our community at the Colerain Township Board of Trustees meeting on February 14, 2017.   The Summer Events Committee has been toying with the idea for some time.

The Committee's goal is to return a small, family oriented 4th of July Spectacular event that is dedicated to our residents and that truly represents our fine community. We are a large community with a small town feel and they want to bring back an event that honors that! Back-to-basics, hometown Americana, family-oriented (no alcohol), old fashioned event that celebrates our Country and this great place we call home!

Colerain Township is the second largest Township in the state Ohio.  The Summer Events Committee last held fireworks in 2012.  They could not be more excited to bring back what they do best – FIREWORKS! This spectacular show will light up the night sky on July 1st for 30-40 minutes and will be choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack. And the best part, our volunteers put on the entire show in house so expenses are low! The event will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2017, the Saturday before July 4th, and will feature free local entertainment, food from area food trucks, free shuttle service, and they are keeping it centered on the family by making it alcohol-free!  The Township is proud to partner with the Colerain Summer Events Committee, Inc. to bring back this much loved community event!
