New Features Help Simplify Sharing to other Cerkls

We are introducing a new way to share other organizations’ Cerkl Events, Stories, or Needs with your audience. On top of that, we now offer on-post sharing options for social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

If you find an article in Cerkl that you would like to share to your organization’s Cerkl or other social media accounts, just use the sharing icons at the top corner of the post to spread the word.

Specifically, if you’d like to share with another Cerkl of yours, click the Cerkl logo and select your organization. The story will automatically re-post to your organization’s Cerkl! And no worries, the post will now contain all your organization’s branding as well.

If you see the story while browsing your personal Newsfeed, you can repost without leaving your feed by clicking the triangle in the upper right corner and choosing “Repost.”

Integrations Tab

If you are posting your organization’s events on Eventbrite or Facebook, your life just got a whole lot easier. Cerkl now integrates with both of these services.

By adding your organization’s Eventbrite and Facebook accounts, Cerkl will automatically pull all your events from each account and add them to your Content Archive and newsletters – first as a story, then as an event in the Upcoming Events section.

To add this feature, head to Settings>Integrations>Your Service. Just add the URLs of your organization’s profiles and watch as your events flow into Cerkl. Of course, you can always enable or disable these features as your needs change.

Dedicated Links for Events and Needs

Some of our partners suggested that they wanted to be able to easily share their events and needs with their audience on social media. We are all for simplifying communications, so we created a new URL structure you can start using.

If you want to share your events, just add “?filter=events” to the end of your Cerkl URL. The same works for your Needs and your Updates.

Thank you to our innovative partners, Pendleton County Public Library and Marion County Public Library for the wonderful enhancement ideas.
