Take control of your internal communications with Cerkl’s new Subject Line Generator for News Digest. It’s a powerful enhancement. Don’t miss out.

Internal communication is complicated. Learn how Cerkl Broadcast helps communicators focus on the important stuff and achieve their communication goals.
Access NowCerkl has released another great Broadcast feature: a new Subject Line Generator that enables users to automate or customize News Digest subject lines.
Our automated News Digest software is very popular, personalizing content delivery and enabling cross-channel distribution and frequency customization. It’s easy to use and very effective. Feedback from customers indicates that migrating from traditional emailed PDF newsletters to Cerkl Broadcast’s AI-generated News Digests has improved their internal communications strategies more than they ever imagined possible. It has boosted morale and employee engagement, driving participation and fostering a stronger sense of connection to organizations.
But many of our customers felt that one vital element relating to subject lines was lacking.
They spoke, and we listened. As a result, we are pleased to introduce the News Digest Subject Line Generator.
The Subject Line Generator is a powerful new tool designed to enable internal communicators to automate or customize News Digest subject lines. It’s a real advantage, saving time and making communication scalable.
There are three flexible modes to choose from:

The Classic Mode is the ideal mode for teams that want a combination of automation and personalization.
It is the default mode and the subject line experience Broadcast users are familiar with. Subject lines are generated automatically by Broadcast’s algorithm and for individual subscribers based on their email content and preferences.
In this mode, you can set a Fallback Subject Line for those who don’t have personalized data, and a Subject Line Prepend if you want specific text to display before the automated subject line.
While the Subject Line Prepend appears before every News Digest subject line, it is optional. However, most of our customers use the feature to brand their News Digests. It helps improve visibility and clarity, allowing subscribers to quickly recognize the email's purpose or relevance in crowded inboxes.
This new release allows you to update the Subject Line Prepend whenever you like. You follow the same procedure used to set it in the Advanced Mode.

Designed for teams that want more control over subject lines, the new Advanced Mode allows users to personalize key elements. There are four fields from which you can mix and match.
Ultimately, this mode provides internal communicators with flexibility and variety by enabling the creation of multiple subject line permutations that depend on the fields you select.

You keep the automation you are used to that guarantees high-quality, personalized subject lines while gaining complete control over the content.

If you prioritize consistency, the new Custom Mode will likely be your first choice. This option lets you set a single static subject line for all subscribers. It’s the choice you will make if you want to ensure that everyone receives the same message. But you need to be comfortable manually updating the subject line if you need to.
A Pro Tip from Rachel Folz, Cerkl’s Director of Product, is that once you’ve made and saved your subject line changes, check out the News Digest Simulator to see how your choice will impact your next News Digest.
The three Subject Line Generator modes are designed to provide you with the perfect blend of automation and customization to elevate your email communications.
