Cerkl Adds Calendar Invites to Broadcast Platform
New functionality allows internal communicators to send targeted calendar events directly to employees’ calendars
Cincinnati, OH — June 23, 2025 — Cerkl today announced the addition of Calendar Invites to its Broadcast platform, giving internal communications teams a new way to deliver timely, targeted events directly onto employees’ calendars. The feature allows organizations to create and distribute calendar events using the same audience targeting and personalization capabilities already used across Broadcast channels.
Calendar Invites enables communicators to send meetings, deadlines, training sessions, and company-wide events directly to Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar without requiring employees to download or manually add files. Events are delivered as tentative by default and can be updated or canceled centrally, ensuring employees always have the most current information.

Like other Broadcast functionality, Calendar Invites uses Cerkl’s audience management system, allowing teams to target events based on employee attributes such as role, department, location, or tenure. This helps ensure the right employees receive the right events, without overloading others with irrelevant invites.
The feature also includes reporting on accepts and declines, giving communicators insight into attendance intent and helping teams adjust outreach as needed. Calendar Invites is currently available to customers on Foundations+ and Broadcast Omni AI plans.
With the addition of Calendar Invites, Cerkl continues to expand Broadcast beyond traditional email and intranet publishing, helping organizations coordinate communication across the moments that matter most to employees.
