Cerkl Adds Retargeting to Broadcast to Improve Employee Message Reach
New capability allows communicators to follow up automatically with employees who did not engage with an initial message.
Cincinnati, OH – November 27, 2023
Cerkl announced the release of a new retargeting feature in its Broadcast internal communications platform, giving communicators a practical way to increase reach and engagement for critical employee messages. The feature allows teams to resend content to employees who did not open, click, or acknowledge an earlier communication, without rebuilding or duplicating campaigns.
Employee communicators often send time-sensitive or compliance-related messages where partial reach creates risk and confusion. Broadcast retargeting addresses this by enabling a single follow-up send based on real engagement data. Communicators can select specific criteria, such as not opened or not clicked, and resend the message to only those employees who missed it the first time.
“Internal communicators are under pressure to ensure important messages are actually seen,” said Rachel Folz, Head of Product at Cerkl. “Retargeting in Broadcast gives them a simple, controlled way to close the gap without spamming employees who already engaged.”
The retargeting feature is built directly into the Broadcast email workflow. Engagement data is tracked in real time, and follow-up sends can be launched in a few clicks. This allows communicators to improve outcomes while maintaining respect for employee attention and inbox load.
Retargeting works alongside Broadcast’s existing personalization and audience targeting capabilities. Messages continue to be tailored using employee attributes and engagement behavior, ensuring follow-ups remain relevant and appropriate for each recipient.
The feature is available to Broadcast customers beginning November 27, 2023.
