Cerkl Expands Broadcast to Reach Employees Without Corporate Email Addresses
New mobile access allows frontline and deskless employees to receive secure digital communications without email for the first time
Cincinnati, OH – September 11, 2023 – Cerkl today announced a new capability within Broadcast that enables organizations to communicate digitally with employees who do not have a corporate email address. The update allows frontline and deskless workers to securely access internal communications through the Broadcast mobile app using existing employee identifiers, removing a long-standing barrier to digital employee communication.
Until now, many organizations have relied on physical mail, shared inboxes, or manual workarounds to reach employees without company email accounts. With this release, Broadcast provides a centralized, digital channel for reaching these workers alongside email-enabled employees, all within the same internal communications platform.
The new experience allows employees without email addresses to log in to the Broadcast mobile app using unique identifiers such as employee ID numbers or phone numbers sourced from existing HRIS data. Organizations can also enable optional security questions based on employee records to add an additional layer of protection.

Once authenticated, mobile-only employees can receive the same targeted, personalized content as other employees, including critical updates, operational messages, and company news. Communicators manage these audiences using the same Broadcast targeting and governance tools already in place.

The email-less mobile access capability is available to customers on Broadcast Ultimate plans and can be enabled using existing workforce data. Organizations can work with their Cerkl Customer Success Manager to configure access and security options.
