Cerkl Introduces Dynamic Segments to Broadcast Platform
New capability enables real-time audience targeting based on employee data, developed in partnership with VMware
Cincinnati, OH – June 14, 2020 – Cerkl announced the release of Dynamic Segments, a new capability within its Broadcast internal communications platform that allows organizations to automatically target and update employee audiences based on changing people data. The feature was developed in partnership with VMware, a Cerkl customer, to support more accurate and scalable internal communication.
Dynamic Segments allow communicators to define audiences using rules tied to employee attributes such as department, role, location, or other custom fields. Once created, these segments update automatically as employee data changes, removing the need for manual list management and reducing the risk of outdated or misdirected communications.
For large and fast-moving organizations, static distribution lists quickly become unreliable. Dynamic Segments address this by keeping audiences continuously in sync with underlying employee data, ensuring messages reach the right people at the right time without added operational effort.
The feature was built in collaboration with VMware, which worked closely with Cerkl’s product team to address the challenges of communicating across a complex, global workforce. VMware’s input helped shape both the flexibility of the rules engine and the practical workflows used by internal communicators.
Dynamic Segments are available within Broadcast and can be applied across supported communication channels, helping organizations maintain relevance and accuracy as their workforce evolves.
