Redesigned Insights for More Usable Internal Communication Analytics
New analytics experience helps communicators understand performance and act on data more efficiently
CINCINNATI, OH – June 23, 2026 – Cerkl today announced the launch of Insights, a massive, next-generation overhaul of its Broadcast platform’s analytics that completely transforms how internal communications teams measure, understand, and optimize employee engagement.
Insights introduces a more structured and accessible approach to analytics within Broadcast. The update emphasizes data visualization, improved navigation, and faster performance, making it easier for users at all levels to interpret engagement and adjust communication strategies accordingly.
The release addresses several limitations in the previous analytics experience. Insights now presents data through a wider range of visual formats, alongside customizable tables for users who prefer more granular analysis. Navigation has been reworked to include consistent pathways and breadcrumbs, reducing the friction of exploring deeper levels of data. Improvements to system performance also reduce load times when accessing reports.
“Internal communicators are expected to make decisions quickly, often without the time or tools to fully interpret their data,” said Tarek Kamil, CEO and Founder of Cerkl. “Insights is designed to remove that friction. It gives teams a clearer view of what’s working, what isn’t, and where to adjust, without requiring them to be analysts.”
The new experience is built as a multi-layered analytics system that supports different roles across an organization. Users can move from high-level summaries to detailed performance data, including email engagement over time, content performance by channel, and audience-level insights across both campaigns and ongoing content. Metrics can be viewed across custom or predefined time ranges and compared against organizational benchmarks to provide context.
Insights also introduces expanded reporting capabilities across Broadcast channels. Users can analyze specific campaign performance, including audience reach and link engagement, as well as track how individual audience members interact with content. Channel-level reporting provides visibility into how different distribution methods perform, while News Digest blocks now surface subscriber delivery preferences and category interests.
Dashboards have been redesigned to support both flexibility and governance. Administrators have full visibility across dashboards, while team members can selectively share access for collaboration. Permissions can be adjusted as organizational needs change, allowing teams to balance transparency with control.
“Analytics should not stop at reporting what happened,” said Rachel Folz, Head of Product at Cerkl. “It should help teams communicate what that data means and what to do next. With Insights, we focused on making data easier to understand and easier to share, so it can actually influence how organizations communicate.”
Insights is available to all Broadcast customers beginning June 20th, 2026.
