2018 Year in Review

2018 is officially in the books and we’re all moving toward making 2019 one of the most engaging to date. Before we kick off the new year, let’s take a look at the year that was and all of the amazing engagement from Cerkl customers.

As always, Cerkl customers brought their A game in 2018 and grew their audiences and delivered personalized experiences to each and every one. There are now over 1.8 million people receiving Cerkl-powered newsletters, an increase of more than 300,000 people.

In 2018, Cerkl automatically sent out over 38 million emails. This brings the grand total of emails sent since we got started in 2015 up to over 95 million emails. We can’t wait to cross into 100 million emails with you in 2019!

Cerkl clients old and new brought the heat in 2018 for creating and delivering valuable content to their audiences using Cerkl.

With over 84,391 pieces of content distributed through Cerkl this year, there was no shortage of choice for end users to receive impactful, personalized newsletters and online experiences.

Using Cerkl’s artificial intelligence-powered algorithm, Cerkl end users could have received 641,034,036 personalized newsletters. This goes to show you that no newsletter is alike – and shouldn’t be.

It. Just. Keeps. Getting. Better. 2018 saw 495 product improvements that made communications jobs easier.

This includes major features like Insights 2.0, Content Manager, Content Creator, and the updated Audience Manager as well as behind the scenes improvements. The hard working and customer-focused tech and Customer Success teams can’t wait to bring you more in 2019!

Team Growth

As we work to make sure that more and more companies can deliver Netflix-like personalization without bringing in their own team of engineers and data scientists, the Cerkl team has grown by 42% in 2018.

Location, Location, Location

Not only did Cerkl move its headquarters to Blue Ash, Ohio in 2018 but we added a Bay Area office. Keep an eye out for future updates about Cerkl expanding to new locations and bringing on more all stars to push personalization further in 2019.
